To make the most of your river experience, here are a few simple preparations that will help you enjoy a smooth, safe, and environmentally respectful trip.

Whether you are a beginner or an outdoor enthusiast, our team will be on-site to welcome you, explain the basic techniques, and guide you through the activity. Take a moment to review our recommendations so you can set off with peace of mind and fully enjoy your day in nature.

And remember: a 30–40% chance of rain still means 60–70% sunshine! 😎☀️☀️

How it works

  • Book your package online.
    Arrive at your scheduled time.
    Meet our staff, who will go over safety instructions and the basic canoe/kayak techniques.
  • Val-David: the trip starts directly from our welcome center.
    Mont-Tremblant: the shuttle departs within 30 minutes, depending on bookings. 😉
  • Paddle down the river (no guide).
    Trip duration may vary depending on river flow and your pace.

What to pack

Safety

  • Wearing a life jacket is mandatory.
    River trips are self-guided and done independently.
    You are responsible for your own safety.
  • The routes are accessible to all experience levels, but we recommend being accompanied if it is your first time.
  • Children aged 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Canadian boating regulations do not permit the consumption of alcohol.
